Sealed containment, HEPA negative air and controlled removal — then an independent clearance test proving the property is clean. One licensed team from Jupiter to Hallandale Beach.
Palm Beach County · Broward County
Once a lab report confirms elevated spore counts, the job changes completely. Removal is no longer about finding the moisture — it is about taking out the contaminated material without pushing spores into the rest of the building.
That is why every job follows the same order. The work area is sealed in plastic and put under negative pressure before a single sheet of drywall is cut. Material that can’t be saved is bagged inside the containment; what stays is HEPA-cleaned and treated. Then the source of the water is dried, because mold that still has moisture comes back.
South Florida adds its own conditions: year-round humidity, air conditioning that runs most of the year, salt air on the coast and a high water table inland. A coastal condo, a 1920s cottage and a house on former wetland fail in different ways, so each city page below describes what remediation usually involves there.
The job is finished when an independent assessor’s air test passes — not when it looks clean. Florida licensing keeps assessment and remediation separate on the same property for that reason.
Not sure how far it has spread yet? Start with a mold inspection — the scope of removal should come from lab data, not guesswork. Already have a report? Call 561-303-0130 (Palm Beach), 954-388-0218 (Broward) or 305-882-9490 (Miami-Dade) and we’ll price the removal from it.
The job on one sheet
Contain the work area. Control the airflow.
Remove affected materials. Verify the result.
Plastic barriers and sealed access help isolate the work area from the rest of the home.
HEPA-filtered negative-air equipment draws air into the work zone and exhausts it outdoors.
Affected materials are removed and bagged within containment. Remaining surfaces are cleaned.
A third-party assessor checks the completed work before containment is removed.

Your inspector
Same Day Mold Inspections is run by Tal Eilon, Florida Licensed Mold Assessor MRSA2732. Remediation is done under the company's separate Florida mold remediator licence, and Florida law keeps the two roles apart on any one property, so when our crew remediates across Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade, the clearance test that proves the work is done comes from an independent assessor, not from us.
Tal writes the remediation protocol from the inspection findings, so the scope matches what was actually found, and the same standards (IICRC S520) run through the containment, the removal and the hand-off to clearance.
Where we work
We remediate in every city across Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade counties. Each page covers the housing, the usual causes and what removal typically involves there.
Usually within a day or two of the scope being agreed. Containment goes up first, so the rest of your South Florida home stays sealed off from the work area from hour one. Call 561-303-0130 and we'll walk the job with you.
It depends on how much material has to come out and how hard it is to reach — a single bathroom wall is a very different job from a soaked attic. We scope it in person and quote in writing before anything is torn out.
Usually not. Containment and negative air pressure keep the work area sealed, so most South Florida families stay in the house. If the affected area includes the only bathroom or the kitchen, we'll tell you that up front.
An independent third party — not the crew that did the removal. Florida licensing keeps assessment and remediation separate on the same job for exactly this reason, and an independent clearance is the only result an insurer or a buyer should accept.
On a small surface stain on tile or glass, sometimes. On drywall, insulation, carpet pad or cabinetry, no — bleach doesn't reach the root structure in porous material, and scrubbing without containment puts spores into the air of the rest of your South Florida home.
Often, when the mold followed a sudden covered event like a burst supply line. Long-term seepage is usually excluded. Documentation decides it, which is why the pre-work assessment and the independent clearance both matter.
Clearance testing. Air samples taken inside the cleaned containment are compared against an outdoor baseline by an accredited lab. Passing clearance is the only proof that counts — a visual "looks clean" is not.
